Meet Pastor David Voss . . .
My family started attending the Petersburg church in 1957 before I was born. My Grandfather was a Free Methodist minister who'd grown tired of the indifference.
I remember hearing my mom talking about stepping into the church and feeling the warmth of coming home! Being raised in the church doesn't make you a Christian, and we'd drifted far away from God, doing things that we were very ashamed of.
I married Sally Holderfield on November 1st, 1980 and we have 4 wonderful children that we are very proud of! On November 1st 2012 we adopted four little babies that that few would have wanted, and we may adopt again!
On August the 17th, 1990 at camp meeting, while listening to Rev. Dan Parker, we fell under deep conviction and Sally and I were gloriously saved. I started volunteering in the county jail in the spring of 1998 until the present time, and it has been the joy of my life to get locked up in jail and to be able to tell a prisoner how he can be free!!
